Restorative justice is a method of resolving conflicts that focuses on healing the relationship between the perpetrator, the victim, and the community (unlike punitive justice, which focuses on punishing the wrongdoer). As part of the restorative justice process, meetings are held between the victim, the perpetrator, and others in the community.
