The talk (in Hebrew) explains how novel language analysis methods can increase the ecological validity of conclusions derived from traditional social psychological research, which emphasizes internal validity. I exemplify this through a series of studies that tested the prediction members of victim groups would prefer more concrete representations of intergroup transgressions than members of perpetrator groups, using a combination of controlled lab experiments and analyses of tweets about the murder of George Floyd and the war in Ukraine.
